Rubbish is not just 'rubbish'. It can be treated
as proof of our actions. For example, what did
we eat, what did we do, or what did we use? However, have you ever guessed or imagined
the life of people while seeing the rubbish? If we think beyond, we can write our own story
of people’s lives using the rubbish.
Rubbish, can be traces of life.
이 프로젝트는 우리가 흔히 발견할 수 있는 쓰레기를 타이포그래피 형식으로 만들어 촬영한 작업입니다. 우리는 물건을 다 사용하거나 무언가를 먹은 후에 쓰레기를 버리게 됩니다. 그래서 보통 사람들은 쓰레기를 쓸모가 없는 것으로 인식하지만, 생각해보면 사람들의 행동이나 일상 생활을 짐작할 수 있는 증거가 될 수 있습니다.
이 프로젝트에서 촬영을 위해 일상적인 카테고리를 지정하고 (학생, 가정주부, 청소부 등) 거기서 흔히 발견될 수 있는 쓰레기를 모았습니다. 모든 쓰레기들은 각 ‘The rubbish’의 알파벳을 형성하고, 흑백 처리된 사진들을 통해 쓰레기 자체에 집중하는 것뿐만 아니라 전체 형태의 ’The rubbish’의 디자인을 볼 수 있습니다.
Project The rubbish is the photography of the rubbish as typography forms. We throw away after we use the objects or eat something. So usually people recognize rubbish as trash (useless thing), but if we think furthermore, it can be a proof to guess their behavior or daily life.
In this project, I used a few categories of objects - easy to collect in our life. All rubbish is created with each letter of ‘The rubbish’. Each photo has been edited as black and white images, so the viewers not just focus on rubbish itself but also feel the entire form of ‘The rubbish’.
